The Live 1968, Paris/Ottawa Fan Pack is a thoroughly engrossing collection that pairs historic concert recordings of Jimi Hendrix Experience performances at L'Olympia in Paris on Jan. 29, 1968, and the Capitol Theatre in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on March 19, 1968, with a wealth of Hendrix memorabilia.

The first contains the Live 1968, Paris/Ottawa CD; the second contains that disc plus a colored vinyl copy of a rare concert recording from a performance in Paris in 1967. Live 1968, Paris/Ottawa contains electrifying live performances of Hendrix classic such as "Purple Haze," "The Wind Cries Mary," "Fire," "Little Wing" and "Foxey Lady", and the band's distortion-drenched cover of the Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," all of which were recorded by national French broadcasting company RTE.
